I was thrilled when the {C} family contacted me and asked me to take some photos of their newest bundle of joy! I knew right away he would be just as darling as his two big sisters! Little {T} is one lucky baby to have so much love around him!

He didn’t want to sleep…why miss out on all the new action?!….,But, he was perfectly content just hanging out on the bean bag! I think he rocked his first photo shoot :D

So many kisses!

Double the cuteness! I love sweet little twins! These little angels came to me on Friday, at 6 weeks young!

Any newborn session can be a challenge, add another to the mix and things can get crazy. But, these two little ones did AMAZING! No, they weren’t really fans of sleeping for me (at least not at the same time) but they were as happy as can be.

We did manage to get them both sound asleep, but that all went down hill the second we laid Miss A next to her brother. I guess he had enough of her while in mom’s belly ;)

A HUGE thank you to Ashley for your extra set of hands!

Enjoy your little preview guys, can’t wait for you to see the rest!

First off, Miss A. She wants to model when she grows up. ;)

And sweet Mr. E sleeping soundly. Don’t you just want to kiss those cheeks!

“Let’s just hold hands and give her what she wants, then maybe she will go away” :)

I am happy to say, these two did an amazing job at giving me my much needed baby fix!

I say it every time, and this session is no exception. The hardest part of my job, is narrowing down what images to show for the preview. I seriously picked about 25 favorites from Skylers shoot…it took me a good 30 minutes to narrow it down to 5…and obviously that didn’t work since I went back and decide to add a few more ;)

I sware, my clients have THE most beautiful babies!

It took a little work to get her to sleep, but once she was out…she was OUT! We moved her, wrapped her, unwrapped her, moved her again….and she was just sound asleep the entire time.

Check out that smile :D

Check her out…can you believe she JUST had a baby!!! I’m jealous.

I knew Vanessa and her husband since High School and I am so happy we have reconnected since then. They have such a beautiful family, and this new little addition makes baby number 4!

They are all so beautiful, and extremely well mannered. And mom is just as gorgeous and so sweet and easy going. I picture me with a house of 4 kids and it’s not pretty. I think I would be a big ole mess with kids running wild, pulling my hair out.

Vanessa, you are such an inspiration to me. Truly.

I was honored to take baby Savannah’s newborn photos. And she was such a little model. It took a little bit to get her to sleep, but even when she was awake she was just completely content laying naked in the beanbag.

Her big sisters and brother waited patiently for Savannah to be done with her photos so they could get the chance for a picture with baby sister. I love my job because of the challenges. It keeps me on my toes. And taking a photo of a newborn with her 3 siblings was definitely a challenge. That and the fact that it was past lunch time and they were ready for a nap. But they still did amazing.  We had to do a little candy bribing, but we did manage to get some photos of them all. I will honestly say, they are NOT perfect photos…but is life perfect? I actually was looking for some advice on a photo in one of my online photo forums, and one of the photographers commented on the photo saying  ”Life isn’t perfect so pictures should be allowed some imperfections.” And I LOVE that. It’s so true. But definitely something we artist sometimes tend to forget.

Anyways, moving on….Here is your preview :) I hope you love it! And, like always I can’t wait for you to see the rest!!

This sweet little princess was a doll for her session. She fought us for a good 2 hours before she finally gave in a conked out. She just didn’t want to sleep. I guess she wanted to remember her modeling debut. Not sleep threw it.

She made my last session of 2011 a memorable one. A session I will always remember. There were tears, laughs and of course baby messes (hence the laughs)! Lots and lots of laughs! ;)

Mom and dad were such troopers. It can be hard on parents when their little one doesn’t want to sleep for their photos, which I completely understand. Dad did have to make a little trip to Starbucks (thanks again for that)…but in the end, it was all worth it. We got some great shots, and mom and dad definitely have a story to tell.

Thank you again for such a fun session yesterday! I hope to work with the 3 of you again soon! Enjoy your preview…can’t wait for you to see the rest!!

This my friends, is what we call a milk coma ;)

Newborn sessions are something I probably do the least, but I love them so much. They can of course be very trying, it varies from baby to baby. But to get the ONE shot is so worth it ;)

Meet baby Dillion! Isn’t he precious! For this session with mom and dad we did a mini lifestyle type session, then a studio set up for baby’s photos.

Congratulations {B} and {J} on your beautiful new addition, I think I will come over soon for another baby fix ;)

Enjoy your preview, hope to have them all posted for you soon!

I think this next one is my favorite newborn shot to date…

<3 baby details!

You know that song…”You must have been a beautiful baby….” Well, I think songs like that were written for babies like this. Savannah is an ADORABLE baby! Her dark hair, big round eyes, plump lips and perfect olive skin tone! Not all newborns are pretty…lucky for me, all the newborns I have ever met have been gorgeous ;)

I always warn moms that the newborn session can either go perfect, or not as perfect as you want it to. The baby is the one who runs a newborn session. Most mom’s have high expectations for how their baby is going to behave during his or her first photoshoot. And sometimes, babies just don’t listen…Savannah did fabulous. She was way too interested in her first photo-shoot to be asleep the entire time, but she was super sweet and calm. Like most new babies, she wanted to eat anytime she felt the nice soft blanket rub against her cheek….or dads shoulder for that matter. LOL.

Did we get 100′s of fabulous perfect sleepy baby photos for mom and dad to choose from?? No. But, what we did get is perfect :D Really, Savannah did mom and dad a favor by giving them fewer options ;)

Here is here modeling debut! I can’t wait for her 6month session! It’s so fun for me to see how much ‘my’ little babies change between sessions. I sure hope she doesn’t lose those cheeks! So cute!

I <3 newborn sessions! They give me a quick fix on my baby fever! This little man, Maxson, is a doll! And did amazing at his session. As long as we didn’t move him he was perfectly content ;)

That’s all I have to say about this handsome little 4 day old…the pictures speak for themselves. Get ready to OOH, and AHH!!

Ladies, do your ovaries ache yet ;)
