Lindsey and I have been friends for years! We met at a mutual friends birthday party, and quickly realized our common interest in cute shorts From that day forward we have been BFF’s. Even when I moved over 900 miles away 14 years ago, our friendship stayed strong and continues to grow.

It is such an amazing honor for me to capture these memories for her. As I look threw these images I get giddy knowing she is about to have her FIRST BABY!!  I am so happy for her & her husband and I just know their sweet little girl is going to have amazing parents.

For this session we decided to escape the heat, if only by 10 degrees, and head up to BEAUTIFUL Sedona. I hadn’t been since I was a kid, so it was fun for me to go back and to show my kids another part of my home state.

Lindsey has ALWAYS been beautiful, the kind of beautiful you hate her but love her for And pregnancy has done nothing but make her even MORE stunning! I have always said she looks a touch like Faith Hill….only prettier

I have known J since High School. You know, back in the day! It makes me so happy to see her dreams come true and to be the one to capture them. From there amazing wedding last summer, these maternity pics and next pics of their brand new baby girl.

J and B are such a beautiful couple. And I think their love shows on camera. You can’t fake a connection like these two have. And check her out!! ALL belly and looking AH-MAY-ZING!!

Congrats again guys, can’t wait to meet your princess!

OK, so maybe it’s not fair that I say this about all my sessions…but, I think maternity is one of my favorite sessions to shoot. They are so fun, so happy, so lovable. And who doesn’t love happy, lovable fun???

Chrissy and DJ were no exception. Talk about a couple that is truly in love. I mean I obviously don’t REALLY know them. But it’s easy to get a read off people, even in 60 minutes. He was so involved in the photo shoot, it was amazing. It’s not often that the dad is excited to be in the photos and take part. He was helping with poses and had a lot of great ideas. It was so fun to watch.

And my gosh, what a beauty Chrissy is. Here piercing blue eyes looked so amazing against her purple sweater. One of our talks was about the baby…will he get moms blues or daddy’s greens…either way, this kid is going to have stunning eyes. No doubt about that.

Thanks again, Chrissy and DJ, for choosing me to take a part in your amazing journey. I can not wait to meet your little boy and capture all those milestones with you.

…anybody else now stuck with “My humps” by the Black Eyed Peas playing in their head…???

Check it out! Haha….Ok, seriously. I love maternity sessions. I love pregnant bellies. I love babies So much love! It’s always an honor when someone who isn’t sure about even getting maternity photos taken, puts their trust in my hands. I always say…no matter how you feel now, big and pregnant, get maternity photos done!! Eventually you will love looking back on them. I never had them with my first, and I am so glad I got some with my second. They weren’t something I liked to look at while I was still pregnant…It was just a reminder of how huge I was…but NOW, I absolutely love looking back on them. I will cherish those photos forever!

Congrats to {J} and {J} (no, they don’t  have the same first names like my husband and I do) I am so excited for the two of you and can’t wait to meet little Miss {S}!

I love doing maternity sessions. They make me miss being pregnant. And I know shortly after a maternity session I will have a brand new squishy baby to play with to ease my baby cravings! Yesterdays session was beautiful. The weather had finally cooled off, and the sunshine was perfect. Aside from all the nasty misquotes! I hope my clients didn’t get as eaten up as I did…no fun Sorry guys!!

You should all recognize this lovely family…they are after all all over my marketing materials and website! I was thrilled when they purchased the Belly-Baby Delux package…I now get to see them every 3 months and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Little VJ is going to be a fabulous big brother to baby Maxson (How cute is that name!!…I might be biased, my baby is Max…but I just adore that name). He is such a sweet heart. And he thoroughly enjoyed painting mommy’s tummy!! So much so that he wasn’t too happy when we cleaned her all up. He was happy to see I had captured images that he can cherish forever

Congratulations again {V} family. I look forward to our year together, and I can not wait to meet little Maxson
