And how many times have YOU put off having photos done because you “want to lose weight” or “need a tan” or whatever the reason may be? We are all guilty of it. I have some “homework” for you…..go thru your old photos. The ones you cherish the most. Do you look at them and say “Gee, mom doesn’t look so good”, or “Wow, look at the pale skin”? No, you look at them and remember the moment. You look at them and smile. Just like your kids won’t look back on your photos and wish you would have waited “till everything was perfect” before you had them done. They won’t see how worn out and tired you looked. They will look at them and smile and see how beautiful you are, and how much you love them.
Now, I want everyone…right now, to go schedule yourself a photo shoot. No, you don’t have to schedule with me (although I would love for you to), but get those memories captured, and stop putting it off.
Lecture over!
Yesterday I had a Mommy and Me session with a beautiful little duo! It was so fun just following little Paige around capturing those real moments between her and her mom.
I am very happy with what we captured, and I am sure Laura will love them as well.
Enjoy the preview!!

Let’s face it. What 3 year old boy wants to sit still, look at the camera AND smile? Maybe he will sit still, maybe he will look at the camera, and maybe he will smile…but the combination of those three things, done all at once, is rare. Very rare. Matthew is your typical three year old boy, and he ROCKED his photo session!
Looking back threw the images captured I see his personality written ALL over it. And really, when it comes to portraits of your kids, that is what your want to remember. There blooming personalities. You want to remember that they were once obsessed with Dinosaurs and everything to do with them. And rather than smile he wanted to ROAR like a T-Rex. You want to remember that he would spin around in circles without getting dizzy, fall down, get back up and laugh about it. You want to remember, that he would give you kisses just so he could get down and run around some more.
Matthew and his parents are great clients of mine, and I am happy to say we have become friends as well. I love being able to capture these memories for them, and like always…I look forward to the next session~
Enjoy your preview…it’s full of life if I do say so myself
ROAR!!!!!!
And look, we even captured one of those rare moments
