{A & E} 7 months old! Highlands Ranch Photographer
Posted on April 23, 2013
I got to spend a part of my Sunday with Abby and Ethan! It’s so fun to watch “my” babies grow! Each time I see them I am amazed at how much they have changed! This time around Ethan was proud to show off his new trick…he can now sit up! And Abby, well she is just a pretty little princess who gave me great eye contact and gorgeous grins the entire session!
If you want to track how much they have changed for your self, be sure to check out there past sessions.
You can see their newborn photos here, and here is their 3 month session.
As always, I am already looking forward to their 9 month photos!

I love that they aren’t shy to let us know when they are done! This was the last shot of the day, and you just have to love it!

I love my photos, now what should I do with them? {Highlands Ranch Photographer}
Posted on April 18, 2013
For me, the most popular ‘item’ that clients buy is the digital copies of their images. And that is great—I love that you want to have them all!! But, I know many of you out there get this disc of your amazing session, and then do nothing with them. I am guilty of this myself….I am HORRIBLE at actually getting my own images printed. So I decided to write a little post to provide some inspiration on what to do with your images! I myself LOVE canvas prints…but I know they aren’t in everyones budget. So I tired to find a variety of ideas….a little something for everyone.
All ideas found on the lovely Pinterest
Links provided—Just click on the individual image!
Enjoy! And I would love to hear what YOUR favorites are!
—That is all for now! I hope this got your creative juices flowing! If I get a lot of interest, I will try to make a inspirational post each week

Alicia & Paul. Married. {Space Gallery Wedding}
Posted on April 3, 2013
Alicia and Paul contacted me in a last minute search for a wedding photographer, and I am so glad they did!
Although I knew Alicia in College, it has been YEARS since I saw her. So long in fact, I didn’t even know she was about to get married! When I met up with them at the wedding venue to talk details, I instantly fell in love. That is another perk of my job….I get to fall in love a lot
I fell in love with this couple. Alicia and Paul. They were calm, open and relaxed…and I LOVE that.
And, I fell in love with the venue. Space Gallery in Denver.
I am actually missing the place deeply…I think I might go drive by just for a quick fix
A old building, high ceilings, real hard wood floors, hanging lights, white walls, amazing light, so much character….yes, I know all you other photographers are drooling.
I could go on and on, but I think I will just get to it. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. B! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your beautiful day! I hope you like what you see here, and I can’t wait for you to see all the edits!

{N and C} Engagement Session. Part One. ~Denver Photographer~
Posted on April 1, 2013
Yes, part one. Because I love them so much and just wanted to see them again
And because Colorado weather decided to intervene….
You might remember beautiful Nanci from her Boudoir session! This time she came back to me with her fiancée for some engagement photos!
Saturday started off beautiful, and about half way thru the session the wind picked up. Not just a little…but a lot. So much so that we decided not to fight it and pack it in for another day. We did get a LOT of keepers and I am excited to see there two again in May
Enjoy your preview you two little love birds! Can’t wait to share more with you!

This cake is ALL for me?!
Posted on March 4, 2013
It’s hard to believe a year has passed since I did this little beauties newborn session! Time flies! And I am convinced that the older you get, the faster it goes!
This past Saturday I went over to the {S} house for a special one year session with Miss. Savannah! We did, of course, get pics of all her beautiful siblings as well…but I decided to keep this post all about Savannah and her cake smash. She is the baby after all
Simply said, Savannah loved being in the spotlight….just she and her cake
This cake is ALL for me? And I am not going to get in trouble if I touch it?
Yea!!!
Mom says I have to be done now?
It’s OK, I am saving some for later

Boudoir Session! Highlands Ranch Photographer
Posted on January 15, 2013
Some of you might be wondering why the heck I have decided to offer Boudoir photography….I mean my focus, till now, has mainly been families and kids…This is so ‘out of the box’ for me. The answer is simple. I had my first Boudoir photography session done a year ago (with Fall Child Photography), and the way it made me feel, the confidence I gained the FUN I had is something I want to help others experience. Never in my life had I felt so special. And seeing the photos of myself I was amazed. “That can’t be me”. Since doing my session a year ago, I have decided this is something I want to do for myself yearly! Not only for myself, but to help me relate to my clients the best that I can. It’s not easy being on that side of the camera, I remember everything going thru my head “what am i doing, do i look OK, how do i smile, do i smile, what do i do with my hands….”. So that is my answer, I am now offering Boudoir photography, for you! Not your loved ones, it’s just an added bonus for them
Saturday I had my first Boudoir night! And I have to give a BIG thank you to these ladies for being my first party! If I had to rate the night, I would give it a 12! We had a blast! And one more shout out to the wonderful MUA crew who dolled up the girl beautifully! You all did an awesome job!
Being that this was my first experience shooting Boudoir photography, I asked the ladies to write me a review to post with their images. I think they had just as good of a time as I did. Thanks again ladies, I can not wait for you all to see your full galleries!
If you are thinking you might be interested in a session like this, please contact me for more info! I have been asked if I only do ‘parties’ and no. I will also do individual sessions. The parties just make it more fun and a little more relaxing to be surrounded by friends…plus it’s an excuse to have a night out
